Our name has changed to better serve the Cyphotilapia genus as a whole and its community, who are dedicated to the care and keeping of this fascinating fish. Click here find out more about the new site, its features and enhancements.
Cyphos.com is dedicated to all Cyphotilapia species ( Frontosa & Gibberosa ), variants and collection points. These majestic giants have roamed the depths of Lake Tanganyika for millions of years and only within the last three decades have we come to know them as "Our" King of the Aquarium. It is the goal of this site to provide an environment where aquarists from beginner to advanced may find and share reliable information and quality advice regarding all aspects of Cyphotilapia care. We are excited about what the future holds and would like to thank all the contributing members who have made this site successful.

In the coming weeks we are going to begin to do the software and security updates for the site that are long over due. Also we will begin working on improvements. Heres your chance, if you have something you would like to see fixed or improved let me know, (ex. tappatalk), etc... I cant promise we will fix them all immediately, but we will start to chip away at them and while I have a tech guy here im paying I would like to get as much fixed each time as possible, so lets hear it. Most are great, but we will also be reviewing all mods as we need mods that are here to help, not to be just a status symbol or drift in and not chip in or not log in at all.
