Default F1 Kap's

My new F1 Kapampa group. 9 fish, 3-5.5", exactly as communicated. Thanks Thai for the seamless sale and shipping experience!
Not sure how to load video but here is the link. For anyone in the Detroit area the 5 smaller mdoka white lips are now for sale as they spoil the ambiance for the gibb's.

Gorgeous tank! Why are you removing the white lips? They look pretty sweet.

G'day Nanook. Thx for your reply & question. The white lips feed so quickly that the Kap's cannot compete for food. The Kap's are constantly on edge as the pheno's fly about the tank. They are stunning fish but I am a 1 tank guy these days and want the Kap's to be the centerpiece of the tank. I will replace them with a few more Lelupi, a tret, some Juli regani, a couple more Lelupi.

I'm going to have Fisher's lupota hopefully My 375 just needs to be plumbed. I'm hoping to have some other fish that won't stress the lupota. Are the smaller white fish you have Juli's?

Lupota are stunning. The smaller white fish I have are juvenile Malawi Blue Dolphins. They're going as well 🙄 A friend of mine breeds wild Juli's and wild trets. I already have a 3" RF comp and a 1.5" black calvus I raised myself. Looking forward to seeing you tank up and running ☺

Did you use crushed Coral for substrate? I've got bags of fine aragonite, but am contemplating a slightly darker, more natural sand to mimic Tanganyika. I'm also planning only Tanganyika fish, and possibly only the lupota.

Thumbs up

My substrate is mostly aragonite with a few pounds of larger grain crushed coral mixed thru. I have some black substrate as well but i think im gonna leavr it as is as the brightness doesn't seem to spook the Kap's at all. I will be all tangs here soon as well
