Default Biiggest spawn yet!!

So I stripped a big girl 5 days ago on day 2 and pulled 60 eggs. 3 were crushed and on day 4 another 3 went bad. I have around 50-53 that all seem good on day 5 now.. Pretty awesome if you ask me.. I am used to the normal 15-30 eggs.. But 60!! Freaking great!

Wow! Congrats! Had a buddy with some original TR Kaps and they gave him 50+ routinely. This may be just the start for you :-)

Just out of curiousity, how large is your female? I have a lupota female at about 5 1/2" that has put out 45-50 eggs a few times but I've never got any actual fry from her for some reason. I know "he" does his job so maybe "she" has an issue, who knows? That's a thread for another day though. lol
That's really cool Stefan, hopefully that will be the new "norm" for that female.

She is a good 6.5+ fisher. This is a female I got last fall. Her 1st spawn was a dud. 90% of my fry come from one colony. Now if the 3 other colonies would start producing like these guys it would be absolutely crazy. Last month I got around 100-110 from 5 spawns. This month so far is this 50 and another 7 from a small girl.. Another 12 days or so to hopefully match last months production.. We shall see
