Default Quality not just about F#

9" male F2 kapampa. Have a couple of extra males from a spawn a few years ago, keeping a small breeding group from that spawn for a while. Had to separate out a couple of males recently. Going to sell them. Took photos of this first one to post him for sale locally. So he's an F2 baby from my original F1 group.

Since I had the photos, thought I'd post him here to prove quality isn't just about F numbers. Whatever the F#, it's still about the parents and individual genes. For now I put him in an old growout tank. He didn't want to move much while I took photos, so he's almost in the same spot:

Thanks... guess I could tell him he's a descendant from a proud line. Wild parents of my F1 were some of the early, true Kaps brought into this country.

Theres something to those old school Kaps. I have a group of os f1 Kaps. They are the only group I have that arent wild. Everyone that comes to my house stop and druell over the kaps. My kaps pop! My wc groups are nice but they just dont pop like them old school Kaps

Yours are nice. Funny, I'd have thought Mikula would get people's attention. How do your kaps breed? Mine are pretty sporadic.

I saw them spawning once but the clown loaches were stealing the eggs. I just removed the clown loaches. I hope they'll start up.
