Default tube down - need advice

I have a female moba with her tube dwon but I am in the process of introducing them to new 180g and so all the females are in the tank for just today. I was told to wait for at least a couple of days before intorducing the male. So the questions are: how long will the tube be down before she is ready to drop her eggs? and shall I introduce the male now or still wait till a couple of days later? Any comments/advice are appreciate it.

I would introduce all the fish at the same time. You can wait a few days to introduce the male if you want to. The female's tube will be down for 3-4 days usually.

Your male and female may breed, but may need a few weeks for everyone to settle in. Introduce the male now and watch and see.

Thanks Ron. I saw this message early this morning and was able to squeeze in a bit of time before work to put the male in. Now I hope the male does his job thanks again.
