Default Stocking question*******************

Tell me what you guys think, 10 Tembwe are going in my 100g 5 foot tank. Iím wanting to add some yellow comps and some white calvus and maybe something else clown loaches maybe or something Tanganyika. How many of each of the other fish would you add. They will be in that tank for about a year and a half. Iím running an fx5 on it for filtration.

How big are the fronts? Seem over stock already with that tank dimension.

A lot depends on the current size of your Tembwe. If they're already large adults you'd be full to overstocked already. If they're 1-2 inches they could be 4-6 inches within a year and 4 plus to 7 inches or so in 18 months. At that point it wouldn't leave room for too much else, couple of comps or calvus maybe. If they're still smaller you could add a few more small to medium tangs, at least for now. Clowns loaches are highly variable in growth according to tank conditions, feeding, etc., but when I had them they went from 2 to 5-6 inches in a year and got pushy, too much for that tank with 10 tembwe imo.

How many fronts will work in a given tank depends on the individual fish, but generally speaking they're not a fish that likes to be overcrowded in a tank.
