I'm thinking I will go with river rock, don't want my new babies getting cut up on Lava rock.

You can get river rock quite reasonable at the local landscaping supply store. I like to soak it to make sure its clean.

I def agree with Houston regarding caves. I don't put caves in my Moba tank anymore. Plus they tend to swim more when there's no caves to defend. Sight breaks are also a must in a frontosa tank. Not only is it a good place to hide from the alpha, it's also perfect for spawning with the alpha.
