cool fish - great shots - very nice sir!!! thanks for sharing and making me work over the weekend to setup more tanks for calvus because of all these great pics - sigh

That camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T2i (a fantastic entry level DSLR). They are now up to the T4i.

Just wanted to bump this thread with some of my favorite pics of the wild parents...

One of the mom's (strong yellow trait on forehead )







The wild father of all of my F1 fry.
Here he is in his "sleepy light color mode."
Notice how strong that yellow trait is on him. No wonder why 95+% of all his offsrping have this trait too.




Here he is caught in the spawning act



A little bit older pic, but here he is in his Inkfin impersonation mode




The females can get pretty dark when they want to - too
