Default Alpha Male Mpimbwe Holding

I would like to first apologize for the bad recording quality and the mess in and all around the tank, iv'e been very busy lately and haven't had time to clean inside of my tanks, but that don't mean I haven't been keeping up with water changes, just no time to scrub algae!

So tonight I got the great experience of witnessing my alpha male Mpimbwe holding!
Two days ago I came home to find a female holding, I stripped her and tonight I came home to find yet another female holding. To my surprise I also found what appeared to be my alpha male was also holding! So what else to do but but out the GoPro and start recording!!

The sub par recording was due to the GoPro being strapped to my head and not being able to see what it was actually pointed at, and the clip at the end was taken with my phone, and for some reason it was set to the lowest recording quality possible, so it set the entire video to 360p. I am still grateful for the footage I got though, as it may never happen again.

I hope you enjoy the footage I was able to get, even though you may not be able to see what it was that I was actually looking at lol, but I think you will get the picture of what I was going for.

I ended up getting 72 eggs, 4 from the male and 68 from the female! Now I just hope and wait that most survive! I split them in two tumblers, one from Jrogo and one colbalt egg rocker.

Best Fishes!
-Albert

The link is not playing on my end. Could you just copy the link for us instead of trying to make it play in the comments?

Well that's cool! Your alpha is a stud! Beautiful fish! You are making me miss my old Mpimbwe group.

Congrats on the spawns! Good luck getting fry!

@STEAKBELLY HAHA I knew someone would bring that up, it definitely was a struggle trying to catch him. In the end though I think I was more stressed out than any of the fish! I added some stress coat just in case though, and took a shot for myself! Lol
