Default What type of Cypho-keeper are you

Trying to find out any correlation if any of the type of fish you keep apart from Cyphos.

I bet there is a correlation but will wait till we get a substantial feedback. I did have Cyphos & Mbuna/Haps tanks at one time but have recently changed over the Mbuna tank into a Tropheus tank. Would also like to convert my smaller 20G tank in the sitting room with Shell dwellers & lots of shells as substrate. Jay

Tried some malawis for a while but just got hook to the hobby when I found my first group of Burundi frontosa. I then started breeding Mpimbwe to support my hobby, pay for my mobas and current set up.
Now I'm all tanganyikan. I got my first sand sifters last dec. and they started breeding recently. I will be adding some paracyprichromis with my kilesas and will be setting up my 2nd shell dweller tank.

Currently dreaming of a 300g tank with all my fav tangs in it. Cyphos, Cyprichromis, paracyprichromis, Leleupi, julidochromis and maybe some shell dwellers. Basically like Fmuellers tank on CF.
WC Cyphotilapia Mobas!!!

I am currently running a 90G all male malawi tank, a 50G tropheus tank (red moliro) and a 30G red cap itungi breeding tank. I am really loving my WC Mobas in my 120G. I do however enjoy seeing the contrast in behaviour across my three main tanks.

fronts are my favorite, but i love all the different types of africans. i have burundi and moba fronts, haps, mbuna, julidiochromis marlieri. want to start up some shell dweller, tropheus, neo pulcher, cyp tanks in the near future.......and someday more front variants.
show me a cichlid that isn't hungry, and I'll show you a cichlid that isn't happy.

I'm concentrating on fronts but have kept just about everything except petros. Thinking about red bulu points.

There's no choice describing what I'm doing, so for me it's none of the above. I'm currently doing cyphos and SA. Basically, I've moved on from Malawis (or Victorians) after doing them for many years and gone back to my original interest in new worlds. Cyphos remain a favorite I haven't grown tired of and at some point I'd like to add some Cyathopharynx or Benthochromis to my cyphos.

Other than that, my wish current list includes several geos and other SAs that either weren't in the hobby when I did discus and other new worlds 20 years ago or that I just never got around to, and also some CAs I'd like to do at some point. Trophs don't particularly interest me, Petros do, but are behind a lot of other fish on my interest list.
My fishroom, my rules...
