Default Black faced frontosa

Sorry all no pics. My LFS has this Frontosa and the whole front face is black starting back at the gill cover moving forward. Anyone know of a collection point or do you think it is possibly a hybrid. Its about 6" and they want $69. I would love to pick it up because I love the way it looks but I dont know if I want to pay $69.

Also tail and dorsal fin are black

PS

Sorry I haven't been around in a while My wife gave birth to our 3rd child back in May so needless to say I have been very very busy.

Could simply be an unusual individual or could be mood, some fronts you'd hardly think were the same fish from one mood to another. Some of the Kapampa I've had, if I took a photo in certain moods I could label them as Tanz or even Burundi and you'd hardly question it. I've had them get black or partially black in one tank but lighten up in another tank or had them go through a phase of a year or two of being black most of the time and then not so much, though they were healthy all along. Before buying I'd observe it pretty carefully, though, to have some reasonable assurance it's not a health issue.

Thanks Fisher and thanks all for the info. It has been sold so I am not going to get it. I assumed it was a mood/stress thing but wanted to ask. It definitely looked cool.
