Default Females tube down, no spawning activity

Right now I have 3 females with tube down for 3 or 4 days. I have not seen any spawning activity so far. I have two big moba males, 10 and 11 inches. No one have establish himself as the alpha male. I wonder if that's what's causing the lack of spawning activity.
I also have other two smaller males 7 and 8 inches. Also have other tank mates (calvus, leleupi, cylindricus and julidochromis that I would be removing this week from the tank). The temperature I think is good 76 C. Any ideas on what would be the problem?

I was thinking that aside from removing the tankmates, I should remove and sale the biggest male. That way the other big male would establish himself as the king of the tank. What do you think guys?

How many males and females do you have? What's your tank size? Try doing a water change. That might spark some activity. Good luck and keep us posted.

My first thought, though harsh, keep your hand out of the pot! Too many interruptions will kill the mood! Let them be this time and if there's corrections to be made, make them for next time. Also what are you calling tubes down? There's tubes down and than there's tubes DOWN! Let them be, they should figure it out in their own. Good luck.

10 females and 4 males. It's a 300 gallon tank.

And Jico, I would follow your advice, I will let them be this time before making any changes.

But what about the two big males that no one one seems to be able to establish himself as the alpha, could that be a factor here?

I wouldn't worry about alpha male, they will sort it out. A water change will work wonders... nice tank size and ratio.

That's really nice three females with tube down. That's awesome!! I just had a female that bred today. She is holding right now. The best advice is to leave the tank alone. What I did this morning when I realize her tube was DOWN I added a cup of sea salt into my tank. That's my normal routine every time I see a female tube down. Good luck!!

With a 300 gallon, they should be fine. You can leave them with no interruptions or you can also slowly (no interruptions) change 25% or more of the water and magic!!! I will guess if there are 3 females with their tubes down, that a water change you will see some action. good luck!

They will decide who will become alpha when it's time. Idk if the females put off a sign, but when it's time they will be fighting to get to some. That's how I usually realize there's a tube down, my alpha starts chasing everyone.
