Default How to post pictures

Figuring out how to post pictures here for new members can be a little confusing so I'm starting this thread to make it easier to get started and figure things out.
There are a few ways to post pictures on the forum. These directions are from my pc and I'm not quite sure what the differences would be on your phones or other devices. (perhaps someone could add to this thread if the instructions differ? Please? lol)

You can use this website's image hosting software and upload your pictures into the gallery and follow the directions to add them to your post.

Here is a link with directions for this method:
http://www.cyphos.com/forums/faq.php..._upload_photos

Or you can use an image hosting website such as photobucket, flicker, image shack, ect.

I'm only familiar with photobucket so if there are other members who can add to this thread and give instructions for some of the other hosting sites, that would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. (also let me know if I forgot a step or made a mistake so the information can be corrected)

Directions for photobucket:

Go to the photobucket website and set up an account:
http://s1250.photobucket.com/?ref=joinus
After you set up an account and upload your photos, go to your library page and choose the photo you want to post.
Hover the cursor in the upper right hand corner of the picture. A flower symbol and some options will appear. (share, share links, move, edit, copy, delete)

Click on the "share links" tab and another window will drop down with links to facebook, twitter, ect. On the right side of that window will be a list of photo links.
Click on the image tab (img) on the bottom right. It should flash "copied" for a brief moment and then resume to display the code.

Then you click back to your post and copy/paste the image code into your post.

Example:
(I removed part of the image code so a picture wouldn't display to show what the code should look similar to before you preview or post it)
It's always a good idea to preview your post before submitting it, a picture should display when you preview the post.

Before you preview or post.
yip yap yip yap blah blah blah
Here is a picture of...

After you preview or post.
yip yap yip yap blah blah blah
Here is a picture of...an ice fishing house that melted through the ice on a local lake early this winter here in Minnesota.

Directions for Flickr:

Go to the Flickr website and set up an account.
https://www.flickr.com/

After you set up an account and upload your pictures you hover the curser over the "you" section and some options will appear. (photostream, albums, map, favorites, galleries, recent activity, organize, creations)

Click on the photostream tab (library tab), that will bring you to your pictures. (you can also click albums if you choose to create an album)
Choose the photo you want to post and click on it. The next page will display the picture and and some options on the bottom right side of the screen. Click on the arrow(share) tab and the share links will appear.

In order for the picture to embed you must copy/paste the BBCode link. You can also adjust the image size here, you'll want to pick the larger of the two medium sizes (640x480)

Once you've copy/pasted the link into your post you must go to the preview page before posting. When you preview the post, the picture will display but there will be a tag at the end of the "picture" that you need to delete or it will display with the picture.

Once the tag is deleted you should be good to go.

Directions for ImageShack:

Go to the ImageShack website and set up an account.
https://imageshack.com/

After you set up an account and upload your photos, choose the picture you want to post. On the bottom right of the picture will be a symbol that resembles a bar code, click on that symbol and some options will appear. (link:, direct:, add to album, share, make private, edit, crop, rotate, delete)

In order to embed your photo you just copy/paste the direct link into your post.
