Default Broken tank

Water is leaking under the tank on the front. Looks like the seal was to blame. I have a 40 gallon that I can put a few in. How long can I keep the other 11 fish around in a 50 gallon Tupperware bin with air stones pumping?

You'll have to watch water chemistry in those holding tanks/bins. SeaChem Stability will be your best friend. Buy every bottle on the shelf at the LFS.

Do yourself a favor and go grab a new 125. A high % of tank reseal projects never work out.

Maybe you can snag something on CL.

Good luck!

Sorry to hear that. I had a 320 go out on me. Bins may be an alternative for a few days. If you can buy a kiddie pool and put them in there, at least it will give them ample space. Good luck.

That's a good idea. That way you wouldn't have to worry about what the recycle rating is on the bins.

I called in a favor. A local breeder from my area, Cunningham Cichlids LLC, is going to keep them in a open 125 he has in his fish room. I order a new 125 that should be in by Friday. Got my AC110 running on 40 to keep some media going.
