Default is my female moba holding?

Hi
My female front recently acting like she has eggs in her mouth. She would go up to gasped for some air once in a while and then continued to move her mouth like she was holding the eggs. I noticed that she trying to expand her mouth wider everyday. However, i don't remember i saw her egg tube showed because i moved some big fishes in the tank recently i did not pay attention to her. Here is the link to the video. Any comment is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Probably air if she's going up for air. She may be stress or something, since there's no hiding spots. Also, how would you ever know who breed with her? What is she?

i was told that she is a moba. I do have 2 male mobas in the tank and the alpha male showed some aggression and surrounded her before. I don't think it is stress because she is not the one got pick on. she does chase other fishes away as well. If she is holding, when should i take her out to make her spit out the eggs? Thanks

well, if she is holding than i am really happy because it is my first batch ever. the tank is 6'x2'x2' and suppose to be for the frontosa only but plan did not go well so i have to put my other fishes in there temporary for 1-2 weeks. I don't think she would mate with the burundi because it is a new fish i'm housing for a friend and she does not allows him to come close. The alpha male also chased him away as well. I am looking for new home for those red devils, they ate everything. So when should i take her out to make her spit out the egg? 2 or 3 weeks? Thanks

If it were me I wouldnt keep the fry unless you just wanted to keep them for yourself, I have had a male that I thought was the dominate alpha and was surprised seeing a smaller male fertilizing the eggs once. You never can tell, so thats why I never mix them.

lol i just hope that she is really holding. i will keep the fry for myself. i thought they don't cross breed. Some one i know has 3 different types in together and he said they don't cross breed. can you tell the age of the fish? should i remove her to another tank? should i use the same water and how often should i change water? thanks

The video is certainly showing holding behavior but I can't tell if she's holding eggs. Definitely quite a mix of fish in the tank but I don't see anyone paying much attention to the fronts. If there really are eggs and you're not going to strip and tumble them at some point I would think a maternity tank for the female would be needed or the other fish will get the fry for sure.

looks like she is holding eggs to me. does she eat when you feed the tank? a female holding air will usually expel the air bubbles and eat..........afterwards will go back up for more air and hold it.

She doesn't eat for 4 days already. But she ddoes occasionally went up to get some air. I guess will have to be patient and wait few more days. I think i will try to give her a maternity tank. Which method is better, strip out eggs or maternity tank? Thank every one for your comments
