Holding Female Already? 5 Days After Arrival!?
So these fish arrived late Thursday. Actually early Friday morning after a shipping mix up. I got home today and it looks like a fish with a mouthful! I will defer to those on this board with a ton more experience than me. Any opinion is appreciated. She looked gravid and her tube was kind of dropped but I was more concerned she was in poor health than breeding shape. Could I be that lucky? Last edited by fisher; 03-01-2016 at 08:20 PM.

Congrats, UnclePeter. You've got a holding female. Doubtful in collecting any fry though.
Beautiful Kigoma you have there. I wonder if this is the name variant as the Bagwe because they look the same to me.

 Im not planning on stripping this soon so we will see what happens. I have luck letting my trophs spit in the tank. Great sign of things to come! Ill post a video of the entire group shortly.

Heres the colony. I have not been able to id the males with certainty yet but I believe the male that spawned may be on the right of the tank. 7 WC fish 2/5 in a 125. FX6 and an AC110 with prefilter caribsea cichlid sand.
