Default First time Moba holder!! Advice please

Like the title says, after four long years of growing out my Mobas, I have a female holding! Shes a big girl, probably in the 5-6" range, and looks to have a pretty good mouthful. This is the first known day of holding. I didn't look hard yesterday so it's unknown when the actual spawn happened, but I did see breeding activity a couple days ago. So it's possible that she's on day three, but like I said, it's one day for sure.

So here's where I'm asking for advice from those experienced with Moba. Do I strip now, and not run the risk of her losing them, or do I wait until known day five?

This tank is in the basement, where there is ZERO traffic other than me.......and I'll even keep myself away if need be! Lol m

What's your goal? Are you hell bent to get fry or are you looking to train for the future? Zaire, personally I strip on day 3 but I barely get 50% hatchery rate this early. Than you have to way into your equation you really don't even know what day today is. I've tried looking at the females tube and try to observe how far it's retracted. Not good. I've seen full retraction in hours and other times only partial after days. Good luck. Keep us posted .

Well that's the issue Jico. I definitely want fry, but if there is true merit to the idea that if she holds, she learns, I'll sacrifice.
