Default Styrofoam under tank

Does anyone use plain white Styrofoam under their tanks?

I think it's recommended for acrylic tanks.

I would think 1/2" would work fine. Doing some more research some guys are using the pink flooring padding that goes under wood. One guy said he was using cork. I think will use either the 1/2 white styrofoam or the pink flooring stuff.

I have 3/4" under my 240. I think it's a sheathing panel. 2X8 I didn't even need to cut it.
