Those samazi are really intriguing me lately, they seem to really have a lot going for them. They look great, they spawn like rabbits, they're extremely friendly (I remember your video where you used to pet them. lol), and now you got this guy...mr mom.
Interesting would be an understatement!

I actually don't have any goals as such. Breeding would be an added bonus but just enjoying them for what they are is enough for me.

I didn't realise males will hold and judging by some of the posts it's not a rare occurance.

I've got my fingers crossed for two today. Today is day 4 and my samazi alpha is still shuffling something around in his mouth. The female is still packed. And I have a big kapampa girl with her tube down.

Goal number one right now is too get my fish room built by mid summer. Goal 2 will be to seperate my WC Moliro colony up and get these beauties spawning. Goal 3 is to create some of the best Tanganyikan breeding stock around.

Hmm, new year, new goals. It appears the only one I've accomplished is to strip swimmers. Not as productive as I would have hoped. Goals for this year, knock out a few more of my original goals and shhh! Don't tell the wife, to add one more 6' tank and another wc group.

Great thread jim Well this year I would like to get up to 10-12 breeding groups of wild zaires.. I'm currently sitting on 4 groups of mobas.. I think I am done with mobas for now.. I would love to get my hands on miks and kits.. This last year was great! I really wish I kept a record of all the fry we produced..My best guess is around 1250 fry produced.. I plan to keep a tight record this upcoming year.. Happy new year everyone!
