Default First Spawn!!!

Yesterday, as I was getting ready to leave I noticed my male and largest female moving in a circular motion on the right side of the tank as they never go on the right side. I looked closely and my female is dropping eggs, but my male beat her up for some. I do not know how many she has but the male beat her up pretty bad for about 10 eggs when I was watching, I saw her put in about 5 in her own mouth. Just keeping my fingers cross, for my female to hold up to at least 5 days or should I wait longer.

I always wait a minimum of 5 days before I strip my females.

I've been lucky so far. I've only ever had a female spit the eggs when chasing her so try to catch her quick.
