Kap's $450

That's a stellar price for 9 x 2.5 yr old F1's.

I honestly think the original price was a good price for their quality/age/size. Zaire fry seem to sell well at $25-35 for 1-1.5" fish, but once you get into this size/price range there's not a whole lot of interest, making resale difficult. Those that have more money to spend tend to want wild fish. The middle ground is a bit of a graveyard for sellers sadly...sigh

Maybe try ebay also? I've seen some stupid prices for them there, especially sellers claiming to have a rare or special type, trying to exploit people's ignorance with hype, also bad information in some cases. I've also seen legitimate sellers with relatively sane prices, might be a selling point to show up there with reasonable prices and accurate information. Some guys on there make them sound like monster fish you couldn't keep with much else.

Also, would you consider selling single males or splitting the group? Might be a selling point for some with a more modest budget?

Can you sell on e-bay if you're unable to ship?

I am willing to split the group but I haven't actually sexed them, and I have no experience venting...I would say there is 3 definite males (6.5-7.5") and 3 (4-5") females base on size/shape since they're all from the same batch of fry, but then there is 3 unknowns (5-6")...

I would be willing to sell a single male or 2 but couldn't guarantee gender numbers otherwise.

Single male $60

Trio's 1M/1F/1Unknown $180

Group of 4 $225

Group of 5 $275

The 9 still at $450

I live in Cincinnati but am willing to drive 2 hours in any direction to meet for a full price offer for the whole group.

Hi Danny,
I’m interested in the whole package (9 frontosa and all the other fish). Will you be able to sell everything to me for $450? I live a little outside of Pittsburgh so we can meet halfway (2 hours each). Please let me know. Thanks!
Lu

Sorry it took this long to respond... kept seeing 'no new posts', must have missed yours somehow...

Not a big ebayer but I'm pretty sure you can. I've seen tanks as "pickup only" and other stuff as 'willing to meet or deliver' at a certain distance. But maybe things will work out with Luyen and you won't have to worry about it.

Someone from this site pm'd me about zaire's and I accidentally deleted the pm. I do still have my group of nine F1 Kapampa for sale. They are 3.5 to 7.5 in. The group is unsexed but looks like three males three females + 3 unknown. The group is 2.5 years old. $450 firm. I cannot ship so it depends where you live if we can make the sale happen. I'm willing to drive 1.5 hours in any direction from Cincinnati to meet.
